Our story begins in 1995 as a small group of engineers, scientists, and chemists began researching a problem in refined petroleum fuels that took up the majority of the next 30 years to fully understand the problem they were researching. Ever since petroleum started being refined into fuels; primarily Diesel fuel, Kerosene, Jet fuel, and gasoline. These refined liquid fuels have been plagued by fuel oxidation and air contamination issues.
When government agencies around the globe, in an attempt to reduce acid rain, reduced the Sulphur in these refined fuels, the problem of fuel oxidation and air contamination became significantly worse, as Sulphur is a natural antioxidant. Further contributing to problems in the IC engine, including fuel cavitation and cavitation damage to fuel pumps and fuel injectors. Carbon deposit accumulations throughout the engine reduced emission control equipment life, along with increased CO2 emissions, increased engine wear and tear, and reduced fuel efficiency.
Our chemical additives reduce and eliminate fluid oxidation and air contamination in functioning fluids. This improves and restores the fluid quality. Our Flagship product, OXYTANE was developed in 2005 but at first we did not fully identify its functions until 2019.
OXYTANE, when added to the fuel as directed, causes the solubilized oxygen, dissolved, entrained, and entrapped air within the fluid fuel to quickly agglomerate into larger bubbles and quickly float out of the fuel, rendering the fuel air free/air less. When refined petroleum fuels are air less their solvation properties improve significantly, as well as the energy density of the fuel increases. Thus, the majority of our users feel the improved and restored performance right after they add it to their fuel.
